Surely wed rather be the 2nd best side in the country than win the fa Cup? Its not just this season its what it leads on to. And a cup win doesnt lead on to anything

What's the point in leading onto anything if there's no silverware at the end of it though?

It kind of depends on the other circumstances. For us finishing 2nd would be much greater progress than winning the cup. I think it's more debatable for Chelsea and utd because both have a good chance of doing well in the league next season
