I'm not having that.

Van Basten is one of the best finishers that has ever lived.

If Erwin really believes that, he's seen things in training we haven't. Rom's good, but Van Basten was special. I think Erwin Koeman knows a bit more about football than I do. It's a massive compliment, if nothing else. :)
Steinbeck's maxim: “Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.”.

I read that in my Shteve McClaren voice.

And shrugged my shoulders a little when I said "weeell"

There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

Schneiderlin details deffo won't be released prior to that report

We signed him before Burnley signed Brady, and he's in there.

I'd much rather we followed the Spurs model to be honest. I.e. No-one over £100k/week. Keep everyone hungry and a respectable distance between the weekly wage of team-mates, not one or two way out in front.
We're Everton not fuckin Palace.

Whilst I agree with you in principle, I think the Premier League Money Machine has moved on a bit for top teams - certainly the top 4. If we are to crack the top 4 we will need to buy top 4 players and not have them put off by the wage structure.

I see nothing wrong with doing the same thing but setting our ceiling higher. Maybe £150k?

I'm only here for the cladding/Bramley Moore Dock updates

Still hasn't signed? What the fuck's he been doing all week?
Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man how to fish, the government will tell him to register his business license, pay income tax, pay payroll, pay for fishing permit.

Heisenberg thoughts on Lukaku :
If he was English his value would be 10-15.
