Lukaku deal still very much on the table

NSNO understands that despite apparent comments from Romelu Lukaku that he would not be signing a new deal at Everton this summer, a deal is still in discussions with his representatives.

But if he doesn't want a deal, it doesn't matter what his agent agrees.

Is that 100% certain or only 99.9999% certain?

Probably. his agent just wants the most money... Nothing to do with whats best for the client.

This is how contract negotiations work, everyone just needs to sit down, have a cuppa, maybe a kit kat, and relax. Rom scoring again on the weekend and Everton picking up 3 more points is more of a priority right now than this anyway.

not read the actual article, who leaked what exactly?   why would Rom or his agent say they have rejected our offer but we (the club) still being negotiated, ok may be to save face etc, but unless neither party can meet / come to an agreement , then why release the story in the first,

guess we will find out sooner or later   roll on SSaturday

I certainly appreciate the club being so forthcoming, strong, and relentlessly positive in this affair.  Steadying my nerves quite nicely.  Good leadership.

I wish we'd stop acting like West Ham
