Was there ever an Everton version of this song done? The original was only wrote in 1972 so I reckon if we did then it may have been in the 80s, perhaps took up and changed to Everton words while the Everton/Celtic bobble hat craze was on in the 1980s.

It was also around that time we used to get a fair amount of Celtic fans coming down to matches when they weren't playing, so it may have been picked up then in the pubs, and perhaps sung more there rather than in the ground?
