The twat ruined my top scorer bet last season with 10 games to go when he put his feet up.

Feel your pain fella. Its not Rom's fault he's in a very militant union.....

I still despise Clive Thomas..

Be interesting to see what happens if we get a penalty against Arsenal. Baines doesn't like confrontation but Koeman has clearly said he's our penalty taker and doesn't seem to do soppy sentimentality.

We needed some tough but think Koeman needs a bit of sentimentality now and then in some situations
can be good for the fans and players moral sometimes, would like him to take Ross golfing this week and sort it....
Or maybe to the soft play park or somert...

There is no justice really ,how can you want a guy who doesn't want to be here ,hangs his boots up whenever he feels like,is downright lazy and still is (at this moment ) going to win the top scorer ! How can I want him to win but I do ,just for the club .It is frightening ,if he ever gets that trait out of his game ,he will be truly world class

Lukaku should be allowed to take any penalties awarded at Arsenal IMO. If he is sold on this season? And that's still a big if, having the golden boot tucked away in his back pocket, is a sure fire selling point as to justifying the huge fees that have been talked about concerning his market value. On a strict business footing, I would think it would be a reasonable change to make in the last game of the season. Especially as the only thing to be gained from the game is the glory of the victory and nothing else but an extra 3 points. :)

Only if @hill135 agrees he should take them. Then it's a 100% cert. :)

I think Baines would be smart enough to tell Rom that he 'felt something' and that he didn't feel 100% about taking the penalty. I think Koeman would know what was happening and admire the intelligence. Everyone's happy

The match is totally meaningless anyway. Well from our point of view.
Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man how to fish, the government will tell him to register his business license, pay income tax, pay payroll, pay for fishing permit.

But if they do win midweek and our neighbours drop points then it's a massive game for them, would love to see them walk in a winner in the 95th minute when there should only have been one minute of extra time !
