Commentator struggled with Deulofeu didn't he?

Is Barry unavailable against City? It's not always standard that loanees can't play against their parent club.
I think the Premier league made it a mandatory rule not so long ago.

Aye, they have. No recalls and no playing against your parent team.

As Bluedylan says so many positives our last 2 live sky games have both been 5 goal thrillers, im sure every sky viewer is missing liverpools 1-0's.

:eh: Our last Sky game was the 1-0 over Chelsea, the West Ham game wasn't live (I'm assuming that's the game you're on about)

Very impressive first half I thought, should have really been 4 or 5. Second half Cabaye made a difference for them but I still felt we could have had another 2-3 from the chances we had. Still 1 defeat in 8 games, not a bad start to the Martinez era

Take it it'll be a straight swop then?  Gibson for Barry?

Unfortunately I only saw the 2nd half but still witnessed the quality Everton have.
That is top four material   :)

Can everyone unite and say Martinez is the man?

It's his attitude, it's totally polar to the last fella'.

The last time we drew 3, and won 3, of our first 6, we won the league - the 7th (game) back in 86/87 was against Man U (home), and we won that.

You can take that to the bank.

He's passed all his tests so far with flying colours.

But there are many more to come. He's got all the tools though so things are looking good.

I saw the entire first half except the goals. I had customers to deal with, when I went back to the game we were 1-0, then 2-0 and then 3-0. Frustrating, but I was happy. Thankfully, on the NBC stream, they have highlights under the main stream as they game progresses so you can catch up on key moments very quickly.

Second half I saw dribs and drabs. Each time I saw Lukaku on the ball, I thought it was Fellaini at first, and then I saw him move and realised it obviously wasn't. He looks bloody good. Skillful, powerful, and doesn't give up. Wish we could buy him.

Look at the bright side, at least we don't have to worry about rich clubs sniffing around him.

Out of town, only saw the second half.  Look forward to watching the DVR recording (first half only, not the kind of masochist who would re-watch the second) Wednesday.

You can learn from a bed shitting, and a learning opportunity that still earns you three points is pretty cool.  Plus, no way will we be over-confident going into the City matchup, eh?

4th place is 4th place, and I like our chances for further advancement.
