Said at the time we should never have brought him back.

Why do we continue to be a retirement home for former top players?

Dreadful signing. Anyone who'd seen his last couple of years at utd could see he was done. We need to start making decisions based on evidence rather than sentiment

Hes been good in games where weve been expected to dominate the ball.

Asking him to be a defensive mid against top teams is bizarre to be honest.

He's been fine overall. Good in some games, and less so in others. Relatively happy with him, and don't mind seeing him come off when he's having a bad game.
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

Was always a vanity project, he gets narky because he wanted to prove Utd wrong and he wasn't finished, however it was spun at the time they offloaded a has been onto us mugs and he's behaving like a brat, one of many who need fucking off.
I still despise Clive Thomas..

More to point to how boring the game was that theres a feature of Rooney moaning when being subbed.

Those saying hes done well do you think hes justified his 150k pw salary since he came?

I think the issue is more going forwards. He started okay but has tailed off. Maybe you can make an argument for him being an okay signing for this season but his contract is for next too and it looks like hell contribute even less then.
