I didnít want him to go, but now heís gone I donít want him to do well as petty as that makes me. Canít say I appreciate the fact heís fit enough for Chelseaís bench already.

They're just getting him used to sitting there for at least 80mins every week

Thats what having a left footed left back getting crosses in from the touchline offers.

Southampton look way better than us here, particularly Ward-Prowse and Romeu.

I donít think Iíll ever have to eat my words as much as Iíve had to do with Harry Kane. I thought he was a joke back in the day and now he scores pretty much every week.

I donít know how Alli doesnít get booked for the same infractions as everyone else. Shirt pull that gets a booking for another player 5 mins earlier ignored when he does it. Itís like heís in a protective bubble at times as far as referees go.

Maybe Iíve just become overly jaded with our performances this season, but almost as every time I watch a club in or around the bottom 3 they seem to be playing far better than we are.

Yes I was thinking about this.

Couple of options:

One is our players really are actually good and therefore will do enough whatever a manager does or doesnít do.

The other is that we are a bit of a ďspecialĒ case, as in weíre in a no-mans land of reasonably high expectations (against actual quality) which has a big impact on confidence so that when weíre in bad form we really suffer in comparison to other rubbish teams who are allowed a bit more licence to be, er, rubbish.
