Same team as against Wolves, 3-1 win.

Is that a 1st for the season, you a predicitng a win?

They drew 0-0 with Arsenal at the Emirates so it won't be a cake walk. Also, we due a failure as we on a good run. Probably a draw with us missing about 12 chances and Samba scoring  a header. 1-1 although i am hoping for a 4-0

Nope, done it a fair bit, have predicted losses for big games because I know I'm usually wrong.

What's a cake walk?

A walk in the park
Something easily accomplished: said to have derived from slave times where slaves won cakes for essentially doing the ministry of silly walks

Oh and I am going for 2-1 for us

I'd go for 2-0 to the Blues also - Bburn average 2 goals conceded in away games and travel badly. I have done a short preview below:

I'll go 2-0.

They've been awful recently and without Fat Sam, you know we can spank them.

Let's hope!

I'd side with Gash and say a solid 2-0 would do fine.

My biggest concern is breaking them down, we will probably concede, we always do now, but we should be scoring 2 or 3 against Blackburn all things considered and I think that will be the big task today. Still going for us to win.

Yea, hopefully we come out strong and put them on the back foot and take our chances early. I'm happy to see the same team out and with Coleman, Rodwell and Anichebe on the bench we've got players that can bring some extra power and pace to the game if we need it.

Wouldn't mind bringing on a sub, but why not bring Hibbo off, move Pip to RB, and either
A - bring on Velios and move Gueye to RM or
B - Bring on Coleman at RM and go 4-4-2

We seemed to try the direct approach, but after they had already scampered back to their box.

Either Coleman or Anichebe need to be introduced. We need direct players who can go by their man. If Coleman comes on I would take of Gueye and move Bily to the left.

I'd bring Anichebe on for Gueye and move Osman to the left and play with two up front and allow Beckford to play on the shoulder of the last defender. Give them something to think about and maybe stretch the defense a bit with some through balls and balls over the top.

Billy is either tired or lacking effort at the moment. Surprised he wasn't subbed off.

He was clearly knackered towards the end. Worked hard in the first half and made some cracking passes, the sort that we lacked so often.

Really a straight forward win in the end.
Very one sided, could have easily been seven.

And Blackburn's two shots were very, very late. Excellent defensive performance, save for one or two miscues (a better team would have punished us for the Jags-Baines miscommunication).

Agreed although he was quite poor at times second half he can always pick the good pass, he struggled with the easy ones though!

Relatively easy win.
Our MOM Leon scored a very good first to get us going and Jack Rodwell did very well when he came on.

doh! if we only we hadn't been so crap in the first half of the season. Bet we top the form table over last eight games

Unbeaten at home in 9.  Why was our home form so piss poor early doors?

Rodwell too. A good answer to those who claim they should be playing week in, week out.

Osman fantastic but still too wasteful in front of goal. Rodwell was fantastic when he came on. Calm, authorative, pacey, powerful. Superb performance and my MoM. Osman close 2nd. Gueye 3rd.

Easy win. most boring 1st half in living memory

Kean reckons Blackburn dominated the first half.  Fucking idiot.

It must have been a shit game. This is must be the shortest matchday thread ever.

This unbeaten run is starting to depress me now, if only......................... ..............

Saw on the BBC today that of the top 5 leagues in Europe, we are 4th on form in the last 6 games.

Blackburn really are a fucking depressing team.  We barely broke a stride to beat them.  Moyes has cursed us now by saying we "will do our best to catch Liverpool" post match.  Expect three losses on the bounce.

Hopefully Utd will play a weakend team next week with one eye on the CL the week after, they also play Newcastle this Tuesday, a win there would really put them in command.

I can see Blackburn going down with Wigan and Blackpool. Not that I like him but they should never have got rid of Fat Sam.

Wasn't that long ago, some on here were bemoaning the fact these numpties bought Blackburn and not us..... :eh: and we were getting relegated..... :snigger: and Osman is shite, I agreed with that one

We have accumulated more points without Piennar, Saha, Yak, Arteta and Fellani than we do when they were all available  :headbang:

Comfortable victory. Thought Osman, Rodwell and Neville all had very good games in the centre of the park. Didn't think much of Bilyaletdinov though. Thought he had a poor game all round.

Yeah, but he tracked back, and as we all know, that's what really matters.

Beckford wasn't helping. I'm warming to Beckford, but I still think he's an idiot.

very comfortable win today, cracking goal from ossie who's been superb in recent games. got to fear for rovers though, any more bad performances like that and they will tumble

bring on the mancs next week, i sense a long overdue win at OT coming if we play like we have the last 7 games
