Title: The perfect day for Everton?
Post by: Endless, Nameless on February 11, 2010, 04:06:38 AM
Well, I was not expecting that. Despite not having our 2 best players of the season, missing a penalty and not getting another blatant penalty (JT handball), we managed to beat Chelsea for the first time in almost 10 years

And, to top it off, here's some other results from the prem:

WHU 2-0 Birmingham
Villa 1-1 United
Wolves 1-0 Spurs
Arsenal 1-0 Liverpool

We've made up some ground today lads   :woohoo:

Well done   :hail:

It wasn't a blatant pen. Replays clearly show the ball struck his foot and then his face.

Agree about the other results point though. Only a point behind Birmingham again now.

Yup. 1 defeat in 11. I would take 1 defeat in our next 11 games. Too many people too quick to jump the gun.

Oh sorry, I was misinformed. I was watching a stream but it cut out at that point and a friend I was IM'ing with said it was a blatant handball...

Either way, it doesn't affect anything. Tonight was still perfect :)

Glad I am not a betting man,

Wolves double over Spurs, what odds that start of the season?

One of the better nights to be blue thats for sure.

Nope, Alan Hanson's a twat as well. All he added was a very judgmental laugh, at the expense of Petr Cech. Fucking gobshite. Can't even say anything nice when we beat the best team in the league.

Yep. I've just had an argument with a bitter Chelsea fan I know, but I just laughed it off. We won and that's all that matters
