Not putting the lad down but I'd be delighted too if at age 19 someone gave me a five year contract at £40 grand a week , he really must have impressed somebody ? Curious thing to say that "My FIRST target
to join A premiership club has materialised" What's his second target ? to become an Everton legend or to
join Chelsea ?

You seem more stressed about mental health of the "stressheads" than they are about Sandro signing, Onyekuru, etc.

This is quite interesting. If it's true of course, it shows a step up in bargaining tactics and that little bit of extra influence necessary to get your man. I like the look of this Onyekuru.

Tbh I didn't even realise Anderlecht weren't the club we bought him from. I though all along we were just loaning him back to them.

Good development for him though, goes to the biggest club in Belgium to test himself for another year.

Basically Moshiri knew enough people to tie the deal up by having contact with all the main players with the exception of the agent of Onyekuru. That was organized through a link up with the Belgian agent Henrotay who phoned the guy at Anderlecht, Herman Van Holsbeeck, their director of football. Who knew the official agent of Onyekuru, Mogi Bayat.  Anderlecht had been told they would get the lad on loan by Moshiri, so consequently it got the ball rolling through Von Holsbeeck, via the agent Henrotay. Henrotay sorted out a plane for Bayat, Onyekuru’s “official” agent and a lawyer and the next day the deal taking the Nigerian starlet to Everton was signed without Anderlecht ever having to move. Right let's try that. It's probably more complex than the original lolol.

Moshiri has contacts in Anderlecht told them about Onyekuru and that if we buy him you can loan him. Through multiple agents the transfer was sorted.
Is that right? 😂😂😂

This bullshit just seems unnecessarily complex.  Give the fuckers a deadline.  You bring us enough money, or enough money and a willing Batshuayi...or you talk to us in a year.

If Chelsea want to repeat and/or make a serious run in the UCL, then they need to quit pinching pennies.  Again, we hold all the fucking cards.  They don't like it?  Too fucking bad.

I'd be surprised if Anderlecht were genuinely paying his £40/k wages. Sure they can't afford that much in that league.

Arsenal were his first choice, and it sounded like they were going to buy him until he couldn't get work permit. Supposedly PSG were so keen, they gave the hard sell so much they ran him out of town. He chose us over everyone else and posted a picture of himself next to the badge, so I'm delighted how keen he is. Not every player is going to be born an Evertonian or even know much about us, but he now has the chance to fall in love with the club and I'll excuse any comments which don't give us max respect as a big club, until he's been here a while.

There is no doubt he had some very keen admirers, Anderlecht seem to have helped us get him, so they could have him on loan for a season, that in itself is unusual and a bit ridiculous. But there is little doubt the kid is special at all standards he's played, and he'll get chances to play at higher level with Anderlecht in CL, but you'd think they would be well positioned to judge. His stats speak of a prolific forward and I'm not convinced he's really that clinical or trying that hard as yet.

When you polish out the imperfections, you sometimes lose a bit of the magic. It's often hard to put creativity in a comfortable box or framework, but potential and talent wise, he is hugely exciting.

Scored on his debut for Anderlecht in their friendly yesterday against Lierse, smart finish.

Goal is about 20 seconds in here:

Good start for him, should get a lot of goals this season. Have to expect to end up as league top scorer.

Anderlecht knew he was out of their league, they couldn't compete financially for him. He needed another year in Belgium to get citizenship.

Think he would have been at Arsenal if he get special disp. on work permit issue.

The benefit of deals like this is that if he gets 25 ijln Belgium and a Belgian citizenship even if we don't want him we'll probably triple our money.

The advantage we have over Chelsea these days is that we can offer a clear route to the first team for the best talents.

Do we want to bring another talented young lad into this shitstorm?

If Koeman's gone by January, sound. If not, leave the kid in Belgium for now. Could do without him being alienated and having his confidence gradually destroyed by poor man management.

Just another talented youngster on the books. We’ve got so many now, genuinely talented, not just like every club who believes their kids are decent.

We’ve got to be developing a system soon to slot these boys into, not just bumbling through from one game to the next changing tactics and players just to get something out of the game.

from that graph you can work out he isn't contributing much in terms of build up play. Passing accuracy is terrible and he sets nobody else up. That said he appears to know where the back of the net is so he'll walk into our team
