I bet Swansea are glad they never went for a footballing shithouse as the only option for keeping them up . I bet an Allardyce inspired team have never beaten anyone 8-1 . That's not to say Carvahal will be there in a year knowing Swansea but top marks for not bottling the appointment .

He was a bit of a leftfield appointment, almost looked as if they were planning for coming back up again should the inevitable happen. I suppose when you think outside the box it can either go horribly wrong or surprisingly well.
Of course they may still go down but they've not taken a regressive step like we have and the players look full of energy to have a good go of it.
