anyone but victor!
mines pretty similar silas
howard
neville heitinga distin baines
fellaini
coleman arteta bilyaletdinov
beckford saha(if he was to miraculously be fit)/cahill
1-1 coleman , anelka
we'll win on penalties.................... ....good job torres and david luiz can't play :D
Why can't David Luiz play? He's not cup tied.
Reckon we will get stuffed 2-0,3-0, but either way it has no bearing on our season in the league, which is becoming more and more alarming.
Cups a nice diversion, but tbh Id rather we were playing another league match right now to get Bolton out of my head.
Still cant believe the ineptitude of the last performance.
I was previously thinking the same thing, but I actually reckon beating Chelsea in the Cup would probably do the same job!
depends on what team chelsea put out as they have a champion's league game in copenhagen just 3 days after saturday's tie. can see them resting a few of their big namesthink you might be right mate
Not going to happen like, but I'd go for something like this:Howard
Neville Jags Distin Baines
Heitinga Felli
Coleman Arteta Bily
Beckford
Anichebe should be benched (as in hit with a bench ;)), Moyes is asking for trouble if he starts him.
Going with Derek's podcast prediction of 1-2 though (after extra time, Bily and Beckford)
Cahill and Fellaini up front Pips stepping into DM you heard it here firstbut you know..... you are not the one who decied the line up... lolol
hmmm Osman on the left of midfield then...
Makes me sad.
Makes me sad.
I just hope he has a stunning game now to compensate. Bily was poor last game but it seems like he is always the scapegoat.

I am pleased that Jags gets the nod though.
Bily was poor last week but Osman came on and was even shitter! I didn't think he was so slow until i saw him get caught up and tackled on the touchline after defending a corner i think by Kevin Davies when he had a 5 or so yard head start on him.
Glad Jags and Beckford are in though but i just want to see some fight from us this week, i want to see us getting in to Chelsea's faces and battling for every ball for every minute!.

Ossie plays better against some of the ' decent ' teams
Who wasn't poor? This is the type of game that would suite Bily, where he'd be given time on the ball.
Osman out wide makes me want to self harm, I'm furious.

CXI: Cech, Ferreira, Ivanovic, Tery, Cole, Mikel, Lampard, Ramires, Kalou, Malouda, Drogba
Exactly my point. The whole team was shit yet Bily gives way for someone who always looks so uncomfortable in the left position. I hope Ossie cuts inside a lot today so he can have some influence on the game.
He's a better bet than Billy.
Fucking Osman on the left.Pienaar said it had nothing to do with money :snigger:
Apart from that, the team is as strong as we could have put out.
To think we gave Hibbert & Osman pay rises and lost Pienaar...
Moyes seems a bit bloody jolly.
Moyes sounded massively pissed off there.
Sound fed up with rumours doesn't he

Yep, regardless of the result the fight is important today.
Fantastic save!
He needs to shoot more often, agreed.
Malouda ring saga is funny.
Discgusting challenge from Malouda that
Baines simply HAS to take all free-kicks in good positions.
I just hope he has a stunning game now to compensate. Bily was poor last game but it seems like he is always the scapegoat.but we are lucky his poor defending haven't cost us yet...... nearly added another own goal to his impressive numbers
I am pleased that Jags gets the nod though.
Good half, solid performances from just about everyone (Jags understandably looking a little rusty and Neville still hoofing a little too often). Another good half for Arteta too, very encouraging.
Did I hear it right that Moyes was shouting at him "Don't do it, don't do it!"?
Did I hear it right that Moyes was shouting at him "Don't do it, don't do it!"?That was us sat at home watching - as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror.
Could really do with some fresh legs now

I thought Howard was our weak link? Fucking superb today.
vic for beck
We could at least get behind Anichebe while he's on the pitch ffs.He won't hear me from the States....unless this whole Big Brother thing is true

That's not the point.I know. Trying to lighten the mood a bit. Normally I'm positive when he comes in and it doesn't work. Trying a little different approach this time. Maybe it will work out a little different.
Open game now. ANYONE could win it.Agree...

Dowd has had a good first half but an awful second! And it's getting worse
anelka coming on and we're looking tired. malouda offDon't like the sound of that
I see Fellaini pushed forward, Heitinga into the DM position.Only logical answer. So Felli at CAM. Probably hoping to get him in space for a cross.
Is Vic looking dangerous at all?He is at least as good as Beckford!
not unless he's got a gun in his socks
I fucking hate Moyes and his shite subs
awful by baines and distin
Hardly a surprise really.
its been coming.can't see us scoring at all
I fucking hate Moyes and his shite subs
Definitely worth saying twice.
yeah he should have brought Tevez and Berbatov on
Heitinga's only worthwhile contribution was hurrying Kalou off the pitch thereOn a positive note Chelsea might not pick up their interest in the summer...

If we get an equaliser and win on penalties, I will name my first son after whoever got the equaliserleighton then?

Utd semi?I think most of us have progressed past a semi.
We always lose penalty shootouts though.
I think most of us have progressed past a semi.
Bad startI've never heard that mentioned about us.
come t]on tell m whats going ON?????????? ARARRAGGGHHHH
I get the feeling Heitinga won that for us as much as anyone :D
By the way, apparently that is Chelsea's SEVENTH penalty shoot-out defeat in a row.
What did Tinga do, other than net one?
Howard so MoM. Brilliant performance. Glad it didn't turn bad for Baines after a brilliant 120 min and an awesome awesome free kick.
What an incredible, mad wonderful game.
Captain Steady does it again. Obviously wont get any praise for it like, but hey.Well he'll get it from me. great player who sets great standards that all others should aspire to

for anyone not watching we went, baines, jags arteta heitinga and nev. baines missed. they had lamp drog anelka cole and can't remember the other one. anelka took no run up and saved by howard. cole blew it over the bar. looked like hetinga said something to him as cole was heading up to take his pen.
Pissed off about missing the Baines equalizer, and the winning penalties because of a poor stream..
But made up about the result.
Next round Reading at home.
We shall not ,we shall not be moved!

Our first away win at a PL side in the FA Cup since Sheff Weds in 1990...
I knew we would win on penalties :) but obviously got some help from the man above
Let's just hope that Reading doesn't turn into the next Brentford
Was Pienaar praying for us?
Delighted for Neville. Took nerve and guts for that penalty and he took it superbly. Made sure Cech could not save it. BK gets loads of stick(deservedly) but the man's actions when Baines scored summed up everything we all felt. he was just so overjoyed it was really awesome to see.don't think anyone believes he isn't a genuine fan......
loved nevilles rooney(after he scored the overhead kick) celebration after the pen,, that was heitinga's first goal for us weren't it?
Doesn't count as a goal when it's in a shootout mate.ah fair enough, sure he'll count it though haha ;D
David Moyes was delighted at his side's sensational progression to the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Everton looked to be heading for defeat after Frank Lampard had fired Chelsea ahead in the first half of extra time.
But Leighton Baines netted an inch perfect free kick with a minute to play and forced penalties.
In the shoot-out Nicolas Anelka and Ashley Cole missed and Phil Neville held his nerve to send the Blues through, and Moyes was understandably exuberant as his side set-up a home tie with Reading in the fifth round.
"I'm just smiling and feeling really good that we've beaten Chelsea," Moyes told evertontv.
"We could talk a lot about what has happened but I think the feeling for Everton to knock Chelsea out of the cup was really great.
"The players were right on the money today they were right at it from the off."
Everton were spurred on by an incredible 6,000 strong away support and Moyes dedicated the victory to the Blues faithful.
"The fans were brilliant today, we needed it and they needed it as well," said Moyes.
"They've not seen enough good Everton team performances this season, but they certainly saw one today."
That was awful. Grabbed my mobile and went out the back of the garage, had to keep refreshing the BBC live text. It sat at 3-3 for ages, I smoked 2 ciggies during the shootout.
All we need now is everton.chrisBeen at hospital all week, my dad is seriously ill, just been on here and glad to see you missed me. Great performance by us pathetic post by Silas, glad to see somethings don't change

You do have a habit of flying in whenever we're doing badly and you also admitted to always betting against us. Silas wasn't to know about your auld fella. My dad is a tad better thanks mate for asking, long story cut short but he is the reason i AM an Evertonian, through and through believe it or not. PS I bet against Everton because i am an awful gambler so i bet against us hoping i lose the bet, sounds weird but it is my way strange way of hoping we win
On that topic, I hope he's doing OK and will pull through! All the best!
I wish your dad nothing but good health but I am no hypocrite and you do only turn up 99% of the time toThanks for your thoughts about my dad, LO is shite 99% of the time, but i love this football club. I am not going to say anything about LO anymore, as his performances will speak for themselves, you have have thoughts about him but i can see more and more people on here are realising he has had his day, i can't quite remember that day but i am sure you can ;)
a) Slag off Osman
b) Slag off the team
Haven't had more than about 30 minutes sleep since 12.30pm yesterday, so incredibly worth it.
I'd go as far as to say it's my 2nd-3rd favourite match I've witnessed, so proud to be an Evertonian today.
But to be fair we only beat them on pens and Essien only came on in the second half. :smug:
Pretty much the strongest side they could have played minus 2 that came off the bench and we were missing Saha.
I'll fucking take it.
