Chris Coleman already lined up as his replacement, the Sunderland comparisons are strong with them.

He won't take the job, has always said he won't.

Given Napoli have already replaced Sarri to let him join Chelsea its all getting a bit awkward.  Can only assume Chelsea thought someone would come in for Conte to avoid them having to pay him off?

Sarri hasn't officially been released by Napoli though, he's still under contract apparently. As mad as that sounds!

But they've replaced him?  You can't replace someone who's still there, thats an industrial tribunal minefield!

Maybe he's on gardening leave? I know they've replaced him but his contract has not been terminated. Probably see it as a way of getting compo out of Chelsea. And the reason they haven't got rid of Conte is they don't want to pay his severance, and they thought he would be the one asking to leave, rather than them pushing him out the door. I think they thought he was going to go back to the Italy job, from what I've read/heard.

Total mess of a situation, further muddled by Abramovic's visa issues.

Sounds like Sarri's coming to Chelsea.

Sucha a convoluted, drawn out process. Can easily see them having a shit season off the back of all this uncertainty.

That is a genuinely insane decision. My Spurs mate is beside himself.

Same, they're livid.

Sick of the Everton Twitterati turning this Spurs managerial appointment into a stick to beat the club with. The Esk at it as usual, the thundercunt.

If he's the same - and the somehow turn every single thing into a Silva-bash sounds like he is - he's a poophead. ToffeeWeb has started to make my blood boil. I've never seen such a huge collective of grumpy old men. If I have to read one more "...but back in the '60s..." comment I'm going to shoot myself.

ToffeeWeb has always been like that, full of cranks.
