Apart from a couple of casual passes the defence has been good.

in this formation Barkley is key to unlocking them, and much as it pains me to say it he's been shite so far. But the three sitting midfielders is working perfectly so far, on a positive note.

There we go. One pass and a run at their defence and were in.

They're here for the taking. Slow pedestrian possession will get us nowhere.
Hey there mister can you tell me what happened to the seeds I've sown
Can you give me a reason sir as to why they've never grown

People's moaning is a reflection on our season so far rather than this performance.

This is exactly how we played in this game last season. Largely passive possession and we didn't really look like scoring. People were pulling themselves off in ecstasy then.

Last season we were capable of upping the tempo and creating chances. Im watching today knowing full well we will keep this slow pace going for 90mins and end up with 60% possession but a 2-1 defeat or some other shit result.
