I'm happy to have him on board.

Hopefully, he can bump that 49.9% stake up to a majority in the near future.

What nobody has realised is that 49.9% of Evertons shares gives him a majority shareholding on the board.
Don't forget Bill only had 26% and Earle 24% even the late Phillip Carter had 2%.
The way Everton is set up minority shareholders hold around 13% many of whom only own 1 share.
49.9% gives him an overall majority on the board who in total only have 43% between them.
Seems he wants BK with him to advise but make no bones about it he now owns Everton Football Club and what he says is the final say

If the club was valued at 200 million originally then I am not sure why he would pay 200 million for 49.9% of the shares after a new share issue. It is not a given that adding 200 million to the bank account that this would necessarily add 200 million to the original value of the club. Basically are we saying the club is now worth 400 million?
............SSN just said Mosher has paid 175m

Regardless of money being pumped in this is exciting just for new ideas for the business side of the club.

Never in the history of this site has so much positivity been published. Will Roberto be "excited" or scared shitless?

Wayne who?? I hope youre not suggesting we take on 1 of the most over paid under performing player in world football.

I'm not completely serious no. I'm just in a frenzy thinking how we are going to fit in all the worlds top players into our lineup ;)

But no, logistically I'm not seriously suggesting it but sentimentally, I am.

Why o why have everton said. He is the new shareholder at 49%. Surely the owner with that stake. Nothing mention of investment regarding the squad in the summer. How much better will the team be next year???

I guess he sold the Arsenal shares to pay for ours. But just fancied a spare 25m in the pocket just in case he fancied treating himself to something.

Amazing news though. Don't know what to say really. Confused. I was pretty sure I would not renew my season ticket next season but I feel different now.

The board members had 68% of the shares with TBH. Seemingly he's bought 49.9% of that and Kenwright, Woods and Earl have diluted their holdings. He's the main owner now regardless with the majority of shares.
There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.
