They'll go down this season (hopefully). They're the southern equivalent of Newcastle,  think they're much bigger than they are. Ok they reached the FA Cup Final last year but they had their kecks pulled down massively

Gracia did very well to stay as long as he did at that club.

Wonder if Flores will last the season before probably getting sacked again anyway.

Valencia have sacked boss Marcelino.

He's the first La Liga managerial casualty of the season.

Wonder if Javi Garcia might end up there?

Reading manager sacked with Mark Hughes the name being bandied about on twitter to replace him.

Jack Ross sacked by Sunderland. Hasn't done too badly on paper and seems harsh considering how few matches he has lost but I guess too many draws.

Shouldn't really be surprised by Sunderland these days but typically pathetic and knee jerk of them, it's why they're in League One. They get a decent, young manager in then shit their pants as soon as they hit a tough patch, if you can even call two defeats this season a tough patch. Of the teams above them, other then Ipswich who are top only Fleetwood (9 points) have more points than Sunderland (8 points) in their last six games. No wonder we end up with Allardyce, Pardew and Pulis etc still getting jobs when clubs won't stand by young managers that they choose to hire while finding their way in the game. Four points behind second with a game in hand, pathetic.

Opta Stat Of the current teams within the top four tiers of English league football, only Liverpool (1) and Manchester City (6) have lost fewer league games (excl. playoffs) than Sunderland (7) since Jack Ross was appointed ahead of 2018-19.

Yeah, I don't know who they're going to replace him with at that level like. I'm sure they were likely looking to bounce back up last season but three decent teams went up there and Portsmouth weren't even one of them so it's not like they were a shoe-in, the top five were miles ahead of the rest.

Guess time will tell, wouldn't be surprised to see Keane return as it's the only place he's been a success.
