..................it was first on MOTD too ,Lineker & co. said it was a clear penalty of course.
Newcastle had a penalty shout but probably not enough contact - but if it had been Salah.............

Considering the viewing numbers then they'd be retards for not showing the shite and Arsenal game first and second, the rest of the games were your bog standard premier league games, BT had Chelsea so couldn't show them first either

Alexander Arnold out for a month now, having got injured in the warm-up and then played 90 minutes, and they've just loaned Clyne out.

Injuries starting to catch up with them (finally).

City'll win it by at least 5 points.

.............. Don't give us false hope  It needs Van Dick to get an injury before they will be blown off course.

Just my honest opinion, when I step back and take emotion/biases out of it. If I am completely neutral about it, City have a better squad, and they win games easily.

If there were 5 games left, Liverpool probably could just creep over the line with these tight wins, based on a penalty decision here or a moment of brilliance there, but 16 games is too far out to be relying on that.

The psychological pressure on Liverpool every weekend now is enormous. They could've been ten points clear a week ago, and one little slip and they'll be 1 or 2 points ahead now.

You can see their fans now. They're not even really enjoying it at the moment. Every weekend where they don't lose ground is more of a relief than an enjoyment to them now. It's an ordeal. City don't seem to be experiencing it like that. They've won leagues recently, they know they'll probably win more in the near future. It's not the be all and end all to them, and consequently they're much more relaxed and I think that matters.

That psychology will be enormous in the run in.

Just in time for those big crunch games at home against Palace, Leicester, Bournemouth and away to West Ham....

You don't play the league on paper though eh? Mad results happen all then time. Sendings off, pens, a piece of Vardy magic, West Ham being up for it on a given day.

All four of those teams can be really awkward on their day. If Liverpool get 12 points of out that, they'll deserve to still be ahead.

Palace having to play their 39yr old fourth choice keeper who hasn’t played a single game in over a year,
behind closed doors match for him on Wednesday to try and get the cobwebs off him.
