Are we? Or have we been hiring well for a number of years now?

@Bluedylan accused you of relentless negativity the other day, hard not to agree when you make posts like this. There's no basis to it at all.

Fair enough in this instance to be honest. Nothing intrinsically wrong with hiring from within and Iím sure itís possible we are hiring well and simply moving the pieces.

I still maintain that I will believe in this stadium when I see it, theyíve pulled my kecks down too many times for me to just trust itís going to happen without really anything of substance - but at the end of the day, what the hell do I know about Head of Stadium Development roles?
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Colin Chong.

Not sure if this is kind of racist, but I really didn't expect to see an elderly white guy above his name.

.....................  Most games have been sold out over the past 4/5 seasons ,plus you're not taking into account that only obstructed views are available so it puts off ' casual 'supporters. When visitors don't take the Upper section ,which is a decent view , it gets sold to home fans in no time ,proving there is a demand for more capacity.
20 years prior to that the capacity has been plenty enough.

"someone" said we didn't deserve a bigger stand. The stand build itself was entirely funded by the grants from the football league following the move to all-seater stadiums.

Everton could have put money towards a bigger stand but the fans didn't deserve it apparently

Seem to remember that was Sir Philip Carter who said that?
Evertonian ever since Andy King smashed the ball past Ray Clemence

Because the upper tier was built on stands.

It just refers to seating platforms set on stands - the platforms became known as "stands".
