Seems like missing out on Lamine Kone was a good thing for us

Proper snide behaviour filming him and sending it to the papers. What he's saying is right as well really I imagine. Loads of players there who don't give a shit
That and he's a bit shit

This will probably follow the cycle of abuse and name calling, then a few years down there line it'll come out that he's an alcoholic or be affected by mental health or childhood problems and everyone will feel like arseholes for 5 minutes then carry on their lives as usual.

Could have been a great player - but fitness and bad attitude towards the professional aspects of what it takes to be a footballer mean it's a no brainer

Always injured, unprofessional and not actually very good. Of course I'm glad!

When he played, he looked the most in control and laid back player. I liked him from that respect, but Schneiderlin has the same swagger and is tons better.

I have little patience with perpetually injured players, so was very happy to see him go.
Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man how to fish, the government will tell him to register his business license, pay income tax, pay payroll, pay for fishing permit.

This incident raises two questions:

1. How many of his "injuries" weren't actually injuries?
2. How shit must players' attitude be at Sunderland that Moyes thought that even with his problems, Gibbo will be an improvement?

I think by then Moyes was a bit like a punch drunk boxer with no idea what the fuck was going on

That is probably also true but still he appears to have tried to recruit people with questionable talent but a better attitude than those already there.

The Sunderland fans are crowing over Mcgeady as he scored a screamer and set up another in their impressive run over Norwich....

Think he's found his level

He was clearly not good enough but if what he said in his interview was true, Martinez also fucked him over big time. He did well at Preston too.
