Agreed and arteta plays better without the pressure

Baines simply HAS to take all free-kicks in good positions.

Not much in it. Coleman needs to improve his balls in and cahill hasn't done much but we are, will in this

Good first half for us, we came out to attack and play football from the off and we've carved out numerous good openings albeit without really making Cech make a good save yet.  The trouble with having Osman on the left (and this isn't a criticism of him), is that he's either got to to cross the ball on his wrong foot or alternatively cut inside to get it on to his right and that's caused a few good opportunities to be lost.

We're still looking pretty vulnerable at the back, particularly against any sort of pace but you've got to expect that Chelsea are going to create chances.  That was a cracking save my Howard from Malouda.

Not sure on the penalty incident at the moment, he certainly was looking for it but I can't tell from the replays so far whether there definitely wasn't any contact that would have been enough to give a penalty.

More of the same 2nd half and we're in with a great shout today.

Encouraging display so far.
It only takes one decent ball, and we can win this one.

Good half, solid performances from just about everyone (Jags understandably looking a little rusty and Neville still hoofing a little too often). Another good half for Arteta too, very encouraging.

I just hope he has a stunning game now to compensate.  Bily was poor last game but it seems like he is always the scapegoat.

I am pleased that Jags gets the nod though.
but we are lucky his poor defending haven't cost us yet......  nearly added another own goal to his impressive numbers

We are by far the better team but they have had by far the best chances. We could be 2-0 up or 3-0 down

Did I hear it right that Moyes was shouting at him "Don't do it, don't do it!"?

That was us sat at home watching - as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror.

Essien was totally out of it against Fulham last week, so he does not worry me too much.
