Not overly keen on Saha and Beckford starting myself, we've looked poor when we've tried 2 up top previously. It will be interesting to see how it goes and whether it works a bit better.

Quality finish, good ball by public enemy number one.

Not too sure that it was, just saw the replay, own goal for me.
To be able to hit the ball with the shin, in to the opposing player to score takes a lot of talent. He made it look like he didn't even mean which only adds to the quality of the finish.

Good to see Osman playing well, he's so much better than Messi.

Some lonely interplay today

Bit of an oxymoron isn't that?  ;)

Get the fuck in, superb play by Arteta.

Another quality finish from Beckford, managed to disguise it as a miskick again.

Very good first half, albeit we are leading through 2 bungled finishes. It's really worked well for us today, just had a bit more luck as well.

Looked a bit like a training match then, Osman has been very good, better than Messi.

Worth giving Baxter a run out in place of Beckford. Typical another striker who scores gets injured.

No.

Good result, lots of players back in form, good movement from Beckford, Osman was probably man of the match.

Arteta was a highlight for me, seemed to have a bit more belief today. He has still been passing well, but good to see him run with the ball a bit more.

Anyone else notice Rodwell managed to sneak in a couple of woeful passes. He looks so good and composed, especially under pressure, then every now and then when he has time he plays a terrible ball. Only real criticism, except for some of the finishing.

Did you just reply to yourself?

And my mate said Fellaini and Beckford got injured, is it bad??
I did  :bonk:

I meant it to sound as an disclaimer to the original post, rather than a reply that it looks like, now you've pointed it out.

Both injuries looked fairly innocuous didn't they? Yes they did.
