Whilst I can take or leave the speculation about Shane Long, I thought the final paragraph was hilarious: Moyse reportedly said 'But there is a difficult world out there where things are struggling. We may find there is not as much spending as in the past.' when asked about supposedly lining up a 6mil bid !

No idea where we would get 6mil but is it really possible for us to spend less than we have in the recent past ?

I would be surprised if we had as much as 6million to spend, he's a decent striker though Shane Long, wouldn't mind us signing him , Incidentally it's David Moyes not Moyse

You think Lou Bega knocked it out of the park with Mambo number 1?!No but he kept at it!

Moyes: "We may find there is not as much spending as in the past"

I didn't know it was possible to spend less than £0

The Scottish Premiereship maybe...nah, not even. We'd be better off with Saha in an iron lung or even another Jo loan.
Everton forever.

well maybe we should stick with 8 games a season saha or big victor Anichebe we won't get away with it every
season havin shit strikers i think Long is a way better footballer than Anichebe, but sure maybe vaughan will come back or jose baxter might go mad next season and score loads of goal's, or maybe moyes will spend some of the 1000 million we have......

I honestly thought this was a piss take when you first posted it. IMO, Shane Long might make for a decent squad additon, a third choice you could start in early round cup games or slot in when injuries took out your preferred choices.

But Shane Long a budding great PL striker? Fecking Hull, I just don't see it, mate.
Everton forever.
