With the fixtures being released on Friday and given are shocking starts over the last few years who would be the teams we should be hoping for in the first month?

Would we be better with some so called lesser teams in the hope of getting some early points on the board? Given that last season how we struggled breaking these teams down and dropping so many points

Or would it be best getting some of the bigger teams out the way? Maybe even a early local derby?
What's your thoughts guys??

For me the last teams you want are the newly promoted teams for the first month or so they are full of hope an adrenelin.

It always takes a good performance against a big team to get us going, so any harder game would be good ( not arsenal though, that didn't work to well last time)

First six games.

Chelsea A
Fulham A
Wigan H
Liverpool H
Man U H
Man City A

Would think we would get loads of points from these considering our form last year.

Who the hell can say? We are such a strange, schizo club when it comes to what teams we play well against and those we don't and when, it's really impossible to say.

One season we struggle to get any points off the top teams, another we roll thru them like they're early-round domestic cup opponents...and another season, we're losing to early-round domestic cup opponents.
Everton forever.

Goodison Derby is always first, as long as I can remember (least it seems to me). No idea why.
