I hope Cuckachoo (Evertonian poster), from Fans Forum, GOT, doesn't object, but,

Everton have beaten Blackburn to the signing of Polish keeper Mateusz Taudul and the youngster will be confirmed as a Toffees player on July 1. Copyright of Cuckachoo.

The responses (to his post) look like this lad is believable.
You can take that to the bank.

Not neccessarily. Remember we've just released Iain Turner plus we never brought in a 4th choice goalkeeper to replace John Ruddy. I heard back in February we signed a young goalie called Mason Springthorpe http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/shrewsbury/9397031.stm although he is 16 and could be another Lars Stabhaug (whatever happened to him?).

I've read some reports that we signed him in January. Perhaps it was one of those deals where he agreed to join at end of season or something but came over to FF for a training session and stuff every now and again.

I added him, cos Im sad, he just accepted. He's in an album from 6 months ago called "Future Champions 2010" with loads of other Everton youth players, so looks like he's been here a while.

Seriously why do young keepers ever bother coming to us?

They never get a game.  They never do anywhere else either.  Why don't they just play proper football and progress up the leagues?

I think being an unknown is pretty much a requirement for Everton signings this summer.
Everton forever.

Not being known = chance for surprise, whereas a known, crappy player =  :headbang:, so perhaps it's looking up?
