Villa won there, Reading won there, Birmingham nearly managed it so I don't see why we can't do it?

Put Senderos on Kuyt and Heitinga on Gerrard, we'll have 'em!

Hibbert won't start, Neville will always play when he is fit and there isn't anyone in Midfield who Moyes could drop to accomodate him.

Has he? I've not seen this confirmed anywhere.

Yeah, it was on SSN, apparently one of his terms was that he'd be given assurances that Benitez would be there next season.

this

Cahill was good today. Cahill is a great player. In no way does he look like he's slowing down.

Great header of the ball? Yes

Great player? No way.

Let's be honest, though, mate, I know this is truncating the debate slightly but Cahill was far from our worst player today.

I know he wasn't, I wasn't saying he was, just arguing with him being called a 'great player'.

next 3 games Chelsea, Man Utd, Tottenham....
with this weak play we will have a lot of problem...

At home we aren't so bad, I think we could nick a point off Chelsea and United.

Cahill isn't world class, or top class, but he's a great player. I think so, and to be honest, the term "great" is subjective.

The point has been made before that when he isn't scoring he contributes very little so no matter what your definition is, I certainly wouldn't call him a 'great player'.

Cahill, although not skillful, is a great player. He has proven his worth over many seasons, not just by his goals, but attitude and commitment which is infectious throughout the team.

But surely more than just Attitude and commitment make a great player?

Yep, goals help as well, he has plenty of those.

I don't think he's as bad a player as some make out either. Sure this season he has been gash, but in previous years, he has been a focal point in our team.

He's the closest to a legend we've had since the 80's imo.

But again, he's been the vocal point down to his scoring, I'd place Duncan Ferguson higher than Cahill on that Legends list.
