How's Gibson looking?

Cool and composed, nothing more really.

Playing alright here. Look a lot more threatening seen as no ones out of position. Look very comfortable with the ball. Thatss probably how shit Villa are though tbh.

Poor half from two teams who look like they've already given up on the season.

Decent performance so far, definitely we're the better team but the usual attacking deficiencies are there to be seen.

I'd like to see Anichebe on for Saha, as I think Villa's back 4 look a bit fragile and Anichebe could rough them up a bit and create some openings.

Decent. Played a nice ball through to Cahill, would like to see him have a shot as nobody else in the middle is.

Bit of a Leon Osman mk2 perhaps, solid without being spectacular. Has some ability in him though.

Gibson - has set the game alight, but gone about his work. Couple decent passes.not had the opportunity to have a dig yet.

I like the Fellaini Gibson midfield, seems to working.

We need to turn this pressure into goals, as in most of our games! Hopefully we'll push on in the second half!
Im not the best, but im in the top 1!

I wouldn't say Saha has been lazy today, I think that's grossly unfair, things are not happening for him though and he is making some poor decisions.  One lovely lay off to Donovan aside.

Good half worry though about the 2nd. Need to get Saha off the field looks completely lacking in confidence. Would like to see Velios come on he seems to be our only striker with confidence and an instinct for a goal

I think that kind of comment is a result of how starved we have been of forward passes from the midfield.

It was a clever ball, but honestly one I'd expect a decent midfielder would be capable of.

His attempt at meeting the cross from Donovan was just so lacking though. Just so half hearted.
