Lads really are clutching at straws if they think Beckford has anything to offer. If he was 18/19 and playing in the lower leagues that's one thing but he's been round the block a few times at 26. He might make championship level at best.

Defoe is a fantastic striker and would more than hold his own in any team in the Prem.
