A goal there would have made it a tie-game!

Tbh, I was waiting for Riise to score, just so I could hear a repeat of this... Riise freekick, funny American commentary

I agree, Thom. I love Denis, amazing when he started crying. Even Vic was giving him the  :hail: when he came on for him.
presume you are joking. Vic was waving to tell him stop running over to make the substitution as we were winning

I must have watched a different match to the rest of you , I thought it was awful , I feel totally underwhelmed. It feels a long time ago since we were playing some nice football with peanuts , ossie , teta ,
You are my Everton, my only Everton, you make me happy when skies are grey

donovan is magic, some of his play was brilliant, smart and a complete player, fell was good tonight too and cahill had a decent game i thought

Still playing on my stream...bloody useless thing.

Still nice to win a game again, and from a goal down

Compared to the vast majority of our performances recently, we controlled large amounts of the game and looked like we might actually score from attacks. The shadows from our recent playing style were still visible, but much better football was layered on top.

I for one am optimistic, if we can keep this up, we'll finish in the top half no problem. Just wish we had Donovan for the rest of the season :(

cahill definitely looks better with straq  then he does with saha. straq had very good hold up plays especially in 2nd half. donovan and felliani played great, gibson quietly good, it's good to see more passion in the team and  especially from straq when he scored !  :D

No, I wasn't joking. I must have had my blue-tinted specs on. Makes me a bit naive and overly romantic

i cant stop laughing at the thought of you sitting there still watching the match. "well in straq, come on vic this is your shot, son!"
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.
