There's very few things to be optimistic about Everton at present unfortunately.

Makes you wonder. Imagine if Straq, Drenthe joined in July and Pienaar never left. Fellaini and co hitting form earlier we could easily be 7-10 points better off. People might say "yer but all clubs can say what if etc". However in our case our what if's are so bloody solveable.

1. Dont fuck up in transfer market till september
2. Play better teams in friendlies
3. Make the players believe they can achieve the highest

But of course, we've proved many times that we can be a competitive teams, despite we're not the biggest one. I feel like we're slowly comin back to the winning formula after period of underachieving. We really have to be meticulous about the smallest things, otherwise the big-money clubs will easily dominate

He said away from a title challenge and of course most of those aren't. Jags in top form could play for a title challenging team, Felli, baines and Pienaar too but that's only 4 players so missing 7 from the starting line up. Seen as you need some very good players in reserve to win titles saying we 9 or 10 away seems fair.
