Haile GAZrselassie

anyone planning on going back out to lisbon then?

i think i'l stay well fucking clear personally.

i bumped into bluknows off here last time in albufiera.

it was 5pm on the tuesday before the game. come 10am the next morning i was homeless in portugal with the worlds biggest hang over thanks to copious amounts of fire water shots, super bock lager and inhaling dry powder from a fire extinguisher.

swine.

So... it's a hard draw, but it was never going to be easy. Typical that Liverpool get Unirea though, they didn't look great. Got to feel for Fulham, can't see them winning either leg.
Oh well, at least Baines is still ace.

Not a bad draw, I think Sporting is a team we can beat, especially with a few players back, should be an interesting tie!

Very tough draw.
They always do you in in injury time.
Well at least to Dutch clubs.
They don't appear to be that strong, and then out of the blue they suddenly score in injury time.

That's what they did to AZ in the semis's of the Uefa Cup a few years ago.
And to Steve Mcclaren's FC Twente in a qualifying round of the Champions League this season.

And finally those shouting for Moutinho will see that he's not as good as they claim.
He wasn't that good in the two matches against FC Twente at least.
Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)

Now you've cursed us fast lane, he's going to tear us apart  ;)

So Veloso and an aging Liedson are the only real dangers here?  I think we can beat Sporting, but what about At Madrid.  Would the book keepers favor us?

Lisbon are nowhere near a force in their own division. If we have a few more lads back fit by the time the tie comes around I'd fancy us to go through.

Hertha should have beaten them twice in the Europa League group.  They're pretty dire at the moment and I think we are favorites.

Hertha got Benfica :(

I'd be confident of beating Sporting if we're able to put out something close to our strongest squad by then.  They're experienced in Europe but they're not in the same class as Benfica at all.

Would love to play Atletico Madrid in the next round.  They're not having a great season but they're recovering at the moment and I think it would make for a cracking game.  They might well have lost a few players by the time we play them though, Aguero for one.

I think Atl. Madrid have absolutely lost it. I can't see them winning their tie.

As for our draw, definitely winnable. Sporting are not a great side.
