We need to keep up the pressure and not invite them on to us. Howard got a touch on that.

Endless, Nameless

Who says all Timmy has is his heading?

Pish!

Absolute class vision and set-up by the Aussie, and Peanut did the rest.

Anyway, we need to stop inviting the pressure on to us. Keep it at 1-0 or better please. A clean sheet win here will make the away trip so much easier.
Oh well, at least Baines is still ace.

We need to get in their faces a bit more. We had a few great moves but not enough on goal.

Would like to see us try and pass it more, get Donovan in a bit more.  We are a better side though, we haven't played that well and are still 1-0 up.

Wish we'd keep the ball on the deck and try and play ourselves in to good positions, the goal is proof of what we can do when we try to play a bit of football.  It also means we keep don't keep giving up possession that way too, unlike when we just try long balls in to the front 2 all the time.

That was never a dive by Saha by the way, he clearly got his ankle clipped as he went past the defender.  As Marty said, why on earth would he have taken a dive in that position?

Why would he dive?

Outside the box, he was getting it and in position for a 1 on 1 and the lad 100% clipped him.

Dunno, he has no reason but it didn't look like he got clipped.  Only saw it once but he went down like a sack of shit and the player didn't make any major contact if any.

When you're running at full pace it only takes minimal contact to bring someone down.

Yeah, I know we were nearly sucessful with a long ball but constant pinging it up to Saha and Timmy isn't the way to go about this game.
