i think we have a shot, as long as we don't start with a 1-8-1 attitude.

man u are on fire, but they often follow up a good run of results with the odd poor display. let's hope that this is one of those occasions.

2-1

Billy is woeful in the air, actually. But yes, it  would be interesting to see him in Cahill's role finally.
Can't really say that because we've barely seen him play

Team: Howard, Neville, Heitinga, Distin, Baines, Donovan, Osman, Arteta, Pienaar, Billy, Saha.
Subs: Nash, Yobo, Vaughan, Gosling, Yakubu, Rodwell, Coleman.

Berbatov partners Rooney up front, and their centre back pairing is Brown and Evans. If Saha is on top of his game then he'll take them apart I reckon.

Good side that.  Hope we can dominate midfield.

Interesting selection gives us the opportunity to play Bilya in the hole where I think he'll be more suited. I'd expect Pienaar to operate down the left along with Leighton don't see any reason to break that pairing up as it's so effective for us, even though I think Pienaar can also offer a lot in the central position behind the striker.

I would expect Pienaar to be in the middle myself given Moyes previous line ups but it'd be interesting to see Billy there. To be honest they could rotate Pienaar/Billy/Donovan to play that position.

On paper, our midfield is superior to Utds imo. I expect we should dominate, but I have a feeling we won't....

Either of them (Piennar/Bilya) playing in the central role is an exciting idea tbh and the os is hinting that Pienaar will be the one that plays there, so we'll see, like you say they could flip flop, I just think that Pienaar and Baines have such a good understanding down that left side that Moyes may be reluctant to break that pairing up.

They only have Fletcher and Carrick in the middle, we should dominate that pair.

Well, Fletcher can be got at, but Carrick has been exceptional recently.

If only we had a lanky afro-sporting Belgian there to jostle them about... :(

I am sick of missing all our best for the big games. It's just bullshit.
Oh well, at least Baines is still ace.
