I could see Moyes resting Gibson and playing Heitinga as DCM alongside Fellaini as he's been making comments about his injury being caused by too many games too quickly and also gives him a way to play Jags without irritating Heitinga too much

not that I would be happy about this of course

    Howard
Neville Heitinga Distin Baines

Osman Fellaini  Gibson   Drenthe

               Cahill

              Jelavic

Tiredness to me shouldn't be a factor at a proffesional level. This should be the team he plays. HE can do one if we don't

Tiredness also suggests that we might not have drenthe 2mora.  ;) I'd go with this after hearing about the injury list.

                              Howard

              Hibbert Heitinga Distin Baines

                    Fellaini      Gibson

              Barkley    Cahill  Osman
                             Jelavic

Yeah I know it looks a bit narrow but when on the front foot push felli up into a four man midfield as I'm confident of Gibson to protect the back four when we attack. Barkley if i remember played well when on the wing a few times in pre season? I know its a gamble but we havent got much else to use have we. Tomorrow is our biggest game of the season  I think Gibson needs to play he's crucial I think. As it gives Fellaini some freedom.
We shall see.

Barkley has a long term injury problem. He may not be able to sustain a career in football according to Ray Hall. He is monitored on a daily basis and they are taking it very slow. Sorry to turn your milk sour  :(

Stating the obvious but Moyes will be the man who decides the result of this game, his team selection. Hes got this knac of surprising or is it mystifing us with his team slections, he needs to get this one right and its going to be tough for him after our perfomance at Swansea. Sunderland will be up for this one as much as we will be. In Moyes we trust?

I've heard similar stories a few times, I'm not convinced it's entirely rubbish.

It's likely to be the same story regurgitated though.

Does anyone know if tonight's match is a complete sell out, apart from the Everton tickets I mean? Come on you Blue Boys...

Probably. I just mean I think there might be something in the story?

Apparently a lot of blues are expected to be in the Sunderland end as well!
