What would you say Yakubu is worth, money-wise?

I'd say around what we paid for him. Perhaps a bit less.

If Citeh want him: £50m
If  'Arry wants him: About what we paid
Anybody else: Less than we paid. Apart from a few flashes, he's not really shown that he's come back from injury with the same desire, touch, and enthusiasm.

(and he is over 30...)   ;D

I wouldn't pay more than £100 for him, he'd be of no use to me and I'd have to buy a new bed in the spare room too.

When will people learn that players have no intrinsic value?

8m, maybe 10. He's still a proven goalscorer, just hope he hits the heights of old.

He'd make a pretty lousy slave too.

I wouldn't want that, I'm not a beast. He could still do a job in my five-a-side team.

...and he could get you a Nigerian birth certificate, which means you would have longer to wait until retirement.

Oh, wait...

We can't sell him now. He needs to get back some form first.
Oh well, at least Baines is still ace.
