The match was won in the first half, but it was still good to see us playing the same way in the second half and to see Cahill bag a goal too.

If we keep playing like this we could win our remaining three matches.

Impressive performance, totally casual second half but we mauled this first half.  Not a bad performance from any of the starting eleven.

would have enjoyed a bit more attacking intent at 4-0.it was all a bit too easy. great passing football though and neville is especially looking good passing the ball about. well done lads.

The game died on its arse when Cahill scored. Both teams happy for it to end 4-0. Great performance from everyone today.

Pienaar with three assists and he won the free kick that led to the penalty. Maestro.

Got to hope he causes murder with Spurs and drops his wages,
if "God" decides his moves he's been given a "sign" with coming back to us, "the resurrection" if you will.

Felli and Jelavic excellent, but yet again Pienaar running the show - just beautiful to watch him.

Great first half, although 2 goals really should have been cleared off the line.  Not a bad performance on the pitch from the blues, and THAT 4th goal is a team goal that will live with me for a very long time, it may not have meant much in the scheme of things but, as has been said, it was truly a thing of beauty.

Peanuts is simply a must buy in the summer, no doubt.

Excellent performance, but very much an end of season game.  Yet again we've got the base of an excellent side (if we can bring Pienaar back permanently), and we've really got to find a way to add the extra bit that will see us be able to actually acheive something with this squad next season.  That and the mentality to play well before January too obviously.

Jelavic could turn out to be our most important signing for a long long time.  At the moment he is giving us something that we've only had briefly when Yakubu bagged his 20 goals, and I genuinely think that this is no purple patch and that we've got a proper top level striker on our hands.

I'll need to give this a watch tonight. You know it's been a good day when everton.chris posts and it's not a pile of shite.

Good month, in the league at least. 14 goals, 6 conceded although 4 of those were in one game.

Jelavic isn't bad for some no mark playing in the SPL, anyone can look good in the SPL aye? I reckon his ratio must just about be better at Everton than in the SPL?  ;D

If only......

E4E reckons it's a done deal. Si reckons thats a good shout. If that isn't the case? We need to break the bank. :woohoo:
