Didnt Saha get the "perfect hat trick"? One with his left, one with his right, and one with his head. Against West Ham?

I dont recall that, he scored two against them once I think, anyway he was class

Scored 2 in both games in 2008/09.

If baines has to go to Utd to satisfy the Billy Lair Business model, then I  have no problem in getting Richardson in as his replacement.

Obviously not as good but he is quick, is not afraid of the ball unlike say Hibbert, and he has a certain aggression that I like.

I can't believe though that we would spend much more tahn 2 to 3 M  on him.

Probs get some stick for this but whoever does clearly doesn't watch him week in week out.

But Neville hasn't worked!

Think hes possibly the worst footballer I have seen, Can't tackle, can't pass

Great captain but hes terrible, his little chip he does when he plays at RB is by far the worst thing I've ever witnessed.

I agree, he's an abomination of a footballer.

Richardson much ado about nothing really,no way a replacement in the class of Baines always for me had a poor attitude and always seemes to be injured more than not.

Your suggestion is awful and you can't even spell your favourite word correctly.

I am not making a suggestion. But if the owner refuses to invest his own money, nobody wants to lend him money, then we have to sell someone/something to earn money. The most sellable of our players is Baines. I am sure Billy Liar has/is convincing DM of the logic of the argument.  He does it most summers.

Anything below 5m and I would be happy enough, so long as moyes gets 15million or so to spend on midfield out of the Baines money. Which is probably going to end up in the same place as the arteta money.

Phil Neville "he's an abomination of a footballer."
You obviously haven't seen some of the shite we used to watch.
Brett Angell anyone?
He may not be the best footballer you'll see, but he's played in the best football team of his generation and they don't carry passengers!!!

For a free transfer even getting that one 10+ goal season from him represented good value.

Saha wasn't a free transfer. At 1.5mil per 20 league games you can do the math on how much he cost. He was also on high wages and had a poor goal per game ration. Definitely a flop.
