starting to really like mr paul merson

http://www.skysports.com/opinion/story/0,25212,15205_6003094,00.html

he seems to have started a love affair with us the last couple of weeks

He's inconsistent for me. He raises good points, but then he rattles on about that he does not know enough about.

That, however, is an agreeable article!
Oh well, at least Baines is still ace.

Anichebe? Isn't this Landycakes' last game?

Come on Davey...

Baines needs to take them.

All of a sudden this goes from an easy game to most likely a shitty score draw.

Fuck this.

The ref is a soft touch as well. I think you'd get a foul for tickling someone on the chin in this game.

Good call, or just take him off so he's out of the way...

Lay him down in the center circle. Maybe one of their players will trip over him.

What an assist by Pienaar.

These backheel assists are coming left right and center. Beautiful stuff.

Need to bring on Landycakes for Vic, give the Yak some Lucozade and make sure we don't throw this away.

i dont like slagging off one player but, cross apart, Vic has been awful

He isnt a winger, he's just a big battering ram. get rid please

A battering ram that struggles to stay on his feet, and always loses the ball...

Good work for the goal, but then I could say the same about the Yak for the first. You can't let one good thing excuse many bad ones.

I wouldn't even mind Vic going up front. He is just awful on the wing.

Landycakes on one side, Pienaar on the other, we'll put these to the sword no probs.

The comparisons between us and Arsenal are quite close actually, similar performances and both CF's missing chances (our performance was better though because we have Heitinga ;) )

Today we passed and created like Arsenal. The only difference was we had some strength and menace at the back. Heitinga was a beast, and Jags/Distin were solid.

Oh, and even our fancy players like Arteta and Pienaar don't shy away from a tackle like their respective Arsenal counterparts might.

Just seen the highlights on MOTD2. Some absolutely stunning football today, and loved every minute of it.

Some of it made my hairs stand up. Arteta's second, and the whole move around it, was just special.
