I'm sure we only used 14 players when we won the league in 1985 , the first 11 plus Richardson, Harper and Ian Atkins if my memory serves me right
We used 25 players in 84/85 and 86/87 (not together but in both seasons). Don't believe Round is so stupid going round telling people about players leaving

Moyes is filling the gap left by Redknapp not being in the PL.

Sure it was more, Bailey and VDH would have played left back at different times, Heath got injured with a cruciate, so thats Heath, Sharp & Gray up front. Plus Paul Wilkinson scored the winner against the RS at Goodison, so it would have been more still.

Haha didn't villa do it with 12 players in the 80s? Im up for trying to manage it with 11

Most teams barely used 15 players a season in those days.  It wasnít restricted to the best teams; itís just the way football was back then.

People rarely got sent off, so you never has suspensions to deal with. I can remember Pat Van den Hauwe did, but he did run half a pitch to flatten Simon Stainrod at QPR. Big Dunc got jailed for far less!

.. And 2 players are being lined up to come in.. Plus a couple of loans, I was told this last week by someone who's info is occasionally good, I brushed it aside when he told me Rodwell was going :(

For the sake of fulfilling our curiosity, what players/loans did he indicate may be coming our way?
