How else can he get ready, sans playing?

Perhaps a few weeks of training?

I still think its a bit ridiculous that certain players go straight back in regardless of how long they've been injured. Neville, Arteta, Cahill, etc etc.

No choice with Arteta after Fellaini was out for the season. The others I agree with.
