Alan Harper: "I made my debut at Goodison against Stoke and was standing in the tunnel waiting to go onto the pitch. Z cars started playing on the PA and I heard the crowd roar. If I could bottle a moment and save it forever, then that would be it.

Frustrating afternoon. Created so many chances and should have taken at least three of them.

The game against Villa is absolutely vital for European football now.

I cannot believe we have just drew that came, we should have came away from here with 3 points. We would be ahead of Villa if we had won that, do a lot of our players forget that? Are they stupid or something? Again, for about the 100th time this season Moyes made his substitutions far to late and should have left Saha on IMO and took Cahill off. I am so pissed off with that result especially considering what score Villa got on, fucking ridiculous.

Definitely missed Arteta today, and would rather have had Bily than Rodwell we needed a lot of creativity to unlock them so I would blame starting Moyes' lineup and lack of substitutions

It's all ways the way and knew we'd draw this game. When we expect to win they bottle it. Poor mentally

Considering we had no Arteta, our midfield created a shedload of chances.  Nobody should say we had a bad performance - we didn't, we just couldn't hit a barn door today.  If our finishing had been half as good as it normaly is, we could have won that by a bigger margin than Chelsea.
