Their sole tactic is to play the ball in high right down Howard's throat.  The worrying thing is that it's looking like it might work.

Decent enough performance in general, but we're just all over the place when it comes to defending high balls in to the area and they're exploiting it.  I can't see us keeping a clean sheet if things stay like they are, so we definitely need to make another one of our own chances count.

Yup.

I'm not sure what changes we'll see but I'm going to say Moyes will do the following...

65 mins - Billy <> Anichebe
76 mins - Saha <> Yak
81 mins - Arteta <> Yobo

Anyone else want to take a guess?

We've looked poor.

That said, Hibbert is a far better RB than Neville. And Neville is shite in CM.
Oh well, at least Baines is still ace.

They are, but dangerous in the air, where we look vulnerable.
We should be beating them easily, but we're not.

And lucky to have our goal-scorer on the pitch.
That really was foolish of him.
Had he have been sent off, we would be finding things very difficult.
Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)

Yep although Neville hasn't been awful today.

Our defensive headache has bugger all to do with Hibbert. Nev is not defending the center, and both he and our 2 center backs aren't defending the edge of the box. Howard is not commanding his area with any authority, and is a liability today if he doesn't sort his head out. We defend far too deeply, and after a season of doing it constantly, I wonder if it will improve as it seems to be coached.

No, he's just been poor.

Hibbert has looked solid though.

Bily has been too wasteful (those two 4 vs 3 situations).

Yeah since Neville came back from injury he has lost his main plus against Hibbert which was his better ability getting forward. And defensively we know Hibbert is usually pretty sound.

Still I'd rather be seeing Coleman get a game in the hope we could *gasp* have both attacking/defensive qualities in a RB.

This was the problem earlier this season when we kept on conceding from deflections as there too many bodies too close to the goal.

Bily has...but he has created far more and looks much better than recently.  Some good potential balls into the box that could have been finished off.
