Since possibly the best day in my life. It's depressing the fact we've had nothing, bar a cup win when I was 6, really in 21 years worth celebrating.

Fuck me...one year on! It seems like yesterday. It does get me down a bit, but I just watch this video again:

FA Cup Semi-Final 2009 Manchester United Vs Everton FULL Penalty Shootout [HD]!

"Everton are in the final! The United grand slam is no more..."

You need to find something else to enjoy in life mate!! Ha ha...but I hear you.

Put your money on a top four finish next season...without Europe to fuck us around, it will be a great year to fully put focus on playing well in the Prem. Just look at Spurs this season.
It's getting pretty serious.

Yeah but how much better is supporting everton now than when you where 10,11,12,13,14,15 and 16? watching joe max moore, gemmil, pembridge and bakayoko. Now we people like arteta, pienaar, fellaini, cahill and saha.
Best squad weve had in 21 years not really that depressing. I'd have more sympathy for your dad or grandad who must find it hard seeing us as nearly men atm when theyve seen all those cups lifted. As for you and me, we know no different and time is on our side. Yeah it would be great to win the league and fa cup but that means supporting a plastic club these days, everton anyday for me. Lad look on the bright side you are fortunate enough to support a premier league club challenging in the top ten year in year out with one of the best managers in the country, the team looks better all the time. I have friends that support leeds, norwich, watford and luton and i dont know how they do it! thousands of football fans can only dream of being in our position.

The only thing that gets me down is that this fantastic manager and talented squad are not being given the transfer budgets that they deserve to take us to the next level. All we need is 15-20 million every season if that.

I look at the brightside, probably no Europe next season so top 4/5 or/and at least another final should be the least we expect.

I've seen some good times with Everton, but the next time will be worth the wait. Look on the bright side. We could have been relegated. A few fans have that to come this season bless them.

You must be a similar age to me ! ... I don't know about you but from those occasions , 3 of my best memories have been semi finals ...  Last year v Utd , Beating Spurs in the Fa cup semi in 1995 and Bayern Munich at GP in 1985 ....  Never to be forgotten days
