You must be a similar age to me ! ... I don't know about you but from those occasions , 3 of my best memories have been semi finals ...  Last year v Utd , Beating Spurs in the Fa cup semi in 1995 and Bayern Munich at GP in 1985 ....  Never to be forgotten days

I was at the Bayern match too, but not at the Spurs Semi. In those days I used to get to most home matches, and that one was certainly a night to remember, and one of my favourite moments in our history. I was in the corner of the Bullens Rd at the Park end, right next to the pitch. I can still taste the Oxo.

"Sunday Bloody Sunday. What a great song. It really encapsulates the frustration of a Sunday, doesn't it? You wake up in the morning, you've got to read all the Sunday papers, the kids are running round, you've got to mow the lawn, wash the car, and you think "Sunday, bloody Sunday!"- Alan Partridge

Endless, Nameless

Fuck me...one year on! It seems like yesterday. It does get me down a bit, but I just watch this video again:

FA Cup Semi-Final 2009 Manchester United Vs Everton FULL Penalty Shootout [HD]!

"Everton are in the final! The United grand slam is no more..."

Watching that still sends shivers down my spine. What a day.

And Jags... I love him so much

And Stubbsy too. Was made up to see him react like a child at Christmas.
Oh well, at least Baines is still ace.

Scouse Ruletero

With the exception of the FA Cup win of 1995, the past 5-6 years of Everton, 2004-2010 have been WAY BETTER than the previous 23 years when we last won the league.

I really wouldn't despair over the current era so much, it really is a massive improvement on relegation battles every year, watching the likes of Carl Tiler, Mitch Ward, Stuart Barlow, Bakayoko, Nyarko, Mick Madar etc., and just watching us become a totally forgotten club.

We're a damn sight closer to winning a trophy nowadays than we were 10 years ago.... even 5 years ago.

I always thought he was proper old myself. Confused with his views on Everton.

Delusional chode.

Funny man, picture of a disabled child on the head of Joleon Lescott to take the piss. Wanker.

I've seen some good times with Everton, but the next time will be worth the wait. Look on the bright side. We could have been relegated. A few fans have that to come this season bless them.
