In what match were Evertonians the loudest, for you? e.g. Munich '85, vs. Liverpool, Ferguson vs. United, Fiorentina, Nuremberg, Wembley...

For me, Fiorentina was probably the loudest I've heard Goodison, when Arteta poked that second in. But Nuremberg away was a special game to be at. The noise Evertonians made in the last 10-15 minutes was ridiculous considering we were the away fans (although a large amount of us were sitting in the home end anyway!)

The 1-0 United game, midweek when Ferguson scored the only goal. That was unreal.

The United fans were shit scared that night.

Great thread this by the way.      Pretty much for me everyone has covered above! Ferguson vs Utd, Arteta, the jags peno never heard such a loud piercing scream that went on for what like felt minutes. I thought sunderland away in the cup when we got the second it was well loud, that was another cracking night.
tony scores we riot

Bayern was special in '85 for me but modern stadia, combined with passionate fans, do a massive amount to generate noise/atmosphere. That said, Ferguson v Utd, Fiorentina and Wembley were all special.
