take a draw at that place...on reflection could have won. soft penalty by a diving bastard. In my opinion the only time i was dissapointed was after we scored we sat back and let them into the game when we had been totally dominating them.

Thankfully we're still near the top then.

I'll take that considering I wasn't expecting to get anything.

Really need a winning run now though.

Yep. Shoulda gone for the jugular.

Based on the first half; 2 points lost.

Based on the second half; hard earned point.

Sent from the Nightclub in Royston Drenthe's Basement.

happy with that, must beat Tottenham next week now though.

Same as. You're right though, we need to beat Spurs next week. We don't want the opposition for the fourth spot get away from us. But a decent performance Imo. Draw at City! Not bad at all.

If it wasn't for the penalty...

Game of two halves really. Over the 90 I thought we held our own, it's just a shame we couldn't match the 1st half performance. I think we are seeing the benefit (to City) of having options on the bench.

mancity obviously would attack and put pressure on in the second half, they do this to every team in the league and nearly always end up with winning.   this is a good result and performance. fellaini man of the match, he totally owned yaya toure all game.

Clean sheet from open play.... First for  a while and against city at the Etihad - hopefully the sign of our regaining defensive composure.

Today's result is an excellent point.

It's dropping points at teams like Wigan, Qpr, Norwich, Newcastle, Liverpool etc that is the kick in the tits.

Another ten points from those 5 games and we're sat joint top!

Did fellaini do anything in the second half? Considering that and the penalty I'd give MoM to distin or jags.
