Nobody has more points than Stoke at home this season. 4 wins and a draw is 13 pts. Next highest is Manure with 12 pts.

City have 20 points at home
Utd & West Brom have 18
We have 16
Stoke, West Ham and Chelsea have 15.

As I said though, your point still stands! It won't be easy by any means.

Stoke City's Michael Owen played 70 minutes in a closed-door friendly against Preston North End on Tuesday, but is unlikely to be risked in Saturday's Premier League clash against Everton.

The 32-year-old former England striker has made just four appearances for the club since joining on a pay-as-you-play contract in September having been hampered by groin and hamstring injuries.

"We have maybe pushed Michael a little bit too hard at times, so we want to give him another week, and maybe fit another game in for him in that time too," manager Tony Pulis told the club's website.

Shame...

Stoke are shit.

They have scored 7 goals at home in the league all season, that's the least goals at home this season in England bar QPR and Aldershot.

No way they will shut us out and no way they will score more than one.

2-1 to us

Good job we managed to beat QPR away then...

We're usually at our best when we have no options.

Bizarrely.

Ordinarily a point away at Stoke is a good one.  The sheer amount of points we have dropped stupidly this season though means that we really need to win this if we have real top 4 ambitions

No doubt if we do draw or lose this the forum will explode with world class bellendism

Naismith will get a lot of the stick, as well as Osman, Colemans poor defending and Howard.  Oh, and Heitinga despite not playing!

                    Howard

Coleman Jagielka Distin Baines

Naismith Osman Gibson Pienaar
                   Fellaini
                   Jelavic

If Anichebe is back though I expect him to start in place of Naismith, usually Moyes plays him away at Stoke to help combat their aerial threat
You think Lou Bega knocked it out of the park with Mambo number 1?!No but he kept at it!

I would play Felli deeper and Naismith behind the striker with Ossie on the right.
Farhad Moshiri, Alisher Usmanov, Muhamed Besic, Idrissa Gana Gueye, Ademola Lookman, Oumar Niasse, David Henen, Barack Hussein Obama, Confucius... Everton Muslims growing stronger...

If I predict a win we get a draw. A draw, we get a win. 3-3 In a lively encounter. ;)

What have you seen from Oviedo on the RW that has impressed you? He was poor both times he was used there and really struggled to get into the game. Same could be said of Naismith but at least he scored a few times.

Personally I think we should look at other options aside those two. Barkley may be able to perform a Pienaar style option on the right, he has ability enough to hold the hold and play a clever pass to Coleman running past him (ala our left wing).

I see a very good centre mid, who when played on the right got dragged off and has hardly been seen since due to how grim he was.
