Meeting up with a blue mate for a catch up in town and going to take in the match somewhere.

I usually stay local for my tv fix so any advice on which pub is best to avoid as many deludes as possible?

Im gonna watch this in town later after i finish work.just gonna try that place the abbey just cos its close to the train station!even though it is rank!

Liverpool are playing too but hopefully we will be on as were on sky

Was in The Thomas Rigby the other day, they had loads of everton memorabilia but not sure if they have a big screen
You think Lou Bega knocked it out of the park with Mambo number 1?!No but he kept at it!

Thomas Rigby has a few screens but not what I'd call big. Nice pub though. JRs has about 50 screens but could be full of kopites.

A mate has just texted the Pig & Whistle as a potential one - is he right?

Been in JRs before with wall to wall Warrior shirts!

Excelsior top of Dale Street is good, as an aside how red shites can show their faces and wear that rag of a shirt in a pub in town when they are playing at home  less than 2 miles away is something I cant get my head round, sad wankers
