Would rather lose and keep everyone fit, than risk key players, win and they get injured

If we end up risking Baines or Fellaini in this and the pick up an injury 4th suddenly becomes a whole lot harder. Sometimes clubs in our position have to make sacrifices. Im not saying just go out there and lose, but its not worth risking our key players

should have enough to win without them anyway, and unless we get 2/3 players i can't see us finishing 4th

Howard, Jelavic and Fellaini will be rested I think.

Baines doesn't need resting.

why does Baines not need resting, but Fellaini does after only coming back into the squad for 1 game following a suspension?

I am with TheRam here. We need our reserve players to get us out of such comparatively easy fixtures so that the first team remains fresh for other matches. Most of the players have hardly got any rest in the last ten days or so and given our small squad few of them could do with some rest and come out fresh for the league.

I believe that our 2nd string team is better than a league 2 team.

Sometimes being better isn't enough. If it turned into a battle would our second string be up for it?

We should wanna win... Keep in the good habits. Am all for keeping a few fresh but not wholesale changes. 3 at the beginning then if we go comfortably ahead 3 subs
