Hypothetical Situation

Everton play Chelsea with 2 games to go in the Premiership, who lead Liverpool by 1 point in the race for the title.  Would you want to see Everton throw the game?

Would you take a banner to Goodison saying 'Cockney for a day'?

No. No. No.

You play your best. Anything less is embarrassing. If Liverpool threw this game then I'd lose whatever respect I have left for them. Which, admittedly isn't much.

But, they seem to be going for it.
Oh well, at least Baines is still ace.

No way.

Everton first, whatever happens elsewhere happens.

Stubbsy also said he heard Carragher was at a charity do on Fri night on the ale.  He seemed to be suggesting that they are not up for it at all today.

I said Carra's a despicabale character anyway.  Stubbsy just grinned.

He also said 'it lacks class' when I told him about the Shite's Cockney banner.

No chance. Small time thinkers with those sort of banners.

The reason Manchester United Football Club are in a position to overhaul the number of titles held by Liverpool Football Club is because the former have simply been better since the inception of the Premier League and the latter have squandered money right, left and centre for years.

I think today proves they're a historical club, not much more.
